MPIA New Board Members

The MPIA is excited to announce and introduce 2 new Board Members:


Mary Johnson, CEO Wavelength Electronics

Mary holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Montana State University and Co-founded Wavelength Electronics in 1993.  Wavelength designs & produces high precision, patented low noise laser diode & QCL drivers and temperature controllers that speed researchers and developers to market. The product line runs from OEM “black boxes” to touchscreen, benchtop instruments.  Mary is passionate about continuously learning and involved with various community organizations.

Krishna Rupavatharam, Principal Scientist, Spectrum Lab

Krishna received his Ph.D in Nonlinear Optics and joined Spectrum Lab, about twenty years ago. His current interests are coherent optical signal processing and quantum information processing. He is a technical consultant for photonics companies in Bozeman and is a member of the technology advisory board for Next Frontier Capital. He is interested in science outreach and has served on the Bozeman school district board for ‘Peaks program’, a program that looks at gifted and talented education needs for K-12 students.
