Montana State University – Science Math Resource Center

The Science Math Resource Center is a STEM outreach center in Montana State University’s Department of Education.For more than 50 years, SMRC has offered professional development for STEM educators and STEM enrichment programs for youth across Montana, focusing on serving students, schools and communities that are under-served in STEM. SMRC is home to Montana Science Olympiad, Montana Math Circle, the Montana Girls STEM Collaborative and the MSU Citizen Science Network, and is the lead organization for MSU’s QCORE Education and Workforce Development programming. Activities related to quantum, photonics and optics include celebrating World Quantum Day, hosting summer camps for both students and teachers, advising MSU students on careers and internships, and offering funding opportunities for tribal and community colleges.
