The Montana Photonics and Quantum Alliance (MPQA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Travis Wood to its Board of Directors. Travis brings to the board a wealth of experience, with over 20 years in growing and scaling advanced manufacturing companies. Based right here in Bozeman, MT, Travis leads Lattice Materials, a division of TPC that specializes in manufacturing mission-critical custom infrared optics in silicon and germanium.

Travis’s professional journey is marked by significant leadership roles, including CEO, president, and vice president positions in various advanced manufacturing organizations. These roles have seen him contribute significantly to aerospace, defense, electric power, electronics, industrial, oil and gas sectors, and more. This diverse experience positions him uniquely to guide MPQA in addressing the challenges and seizing opportunities in the rapidly evolving tech landscape.

Travis holds an MBA from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut. His academic background and extensive professional experience make him an ideal fit for the MPQA board.
