Montana Learning Center (MLC) at Canyon Ferry Lake

The Montana Learning Center (MLC) at Canyon Ferry Lake is a statewide leader in Earth and space science education and a NASA-affiliated partner inspiring the next generation of scientists, engineers, and explorers. MLC offers immersive STEM learning camps for youth, educator training, and authentic research experiences emphasizing optics and data science. The Center is home to Montana’s largest public-access telescope and operates several research-grade instruments for student and teacher use. As a new member of the Montana Photonics & Quantum Alliance, MLC looks forward to collaborating on workforce development, internships, and outreach that link NASA-supported learning with Montana’s photonics and quantum industry.
