Montana Photonics & Quantum Alliance Celebrates Strategic Acquisition of AdvR by Hawthorn Photonics

Bozeman, MT – June 2025 — The Montana Photonics & Quantum Alliance (MPQA) is proud to congratulate longtime member AdvR Inc. on its acquisition by Hawthorn Photonics, a U.S.-based group specializing in non-linear optics and advanced photonics technologies.

This strategic move brings AdvR together with Covesion Ltd., a UK leader in magnesium-doped PPLN technology, under the Hawthorn Photonics umbrella. Together, these companies are creating a powerful transatlantic platform for advanced photonics innovation.
