The Montana Photonics and Quantum Alliance (MPQA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Elle Gahl to its Board of Directors.

Elle Gahl is a commercialization and operations specialist for federal agencies and the private sector. She is a fourth generation Montanan and a Bobcat through and through. After graduating from Montana State University in Biological Engineering, she worked for the world’s largest lactic acid manufacturer where her love for business development took root. Today, Elle is the president and founder of Shadow Ridge Analytics and the executive director of eidotech, a Regional Innovation Cluster funded by the SBA for Montana’s up and coming photonics, optics, and quantum companies.

Elle is an experienced commercialization professional with specialties in homeland security, defense, infrastructure, ingredient manufacturing, and remote sensing. Her expertise includes patent valuation and IP management, financial modeling, commercial strategy, government partnerships, and contract management.  

When she’s not nerding out on all of the great Montana technology, you can find Elle in the mountains of Montana with her husband, three children, and trusty black lab.
