The Quality Manager ensures that Lattice Materials products and services meet established standards by developing and implementing Quality Management Systems (QMS), leading quality audits, conducting product inspections, and collaborating with teams to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. The Quality Manager is responsible for quality control through all manufacturing activities including final QA and shipping. The Quality Manager works closely with production team members and manufacturing engineering to perform root cause analysis, corrective action, implementation of changes to support the goals of the organization. The Quality Manager drives operational excellence through Lean methodologies and fosters a culture of safety, continuous improvement and high performance.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Leadership

Champion quality assurance across all production areas, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
Identify risks and deploy tactics to mitigate them
Lead cross-functional initiatives to reduce defects, improve first-pass yield and, on-time delivery.
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to implement robust process controls and preventive systems.
Production Support

Collaborate with the Production Manager to ensure timely delivery of compliant products.
Work with Manufacturing Engineering to develop and deploy robust tools for ensuring quality.
Act as a leader in reinforcing company policy
Champion accurate production reporting to capture quality and costing data
Document Control

Audit and update all manufacturing related documents to ensure alignment with both customer specifications and company policies.
Collaborate with other teams to improve data collection tools and methods.
Workforce Development & Leadership

Lead, coach, and develop the QA team members to build capability and engagement.
Establish clear performance expectations and support career development through structured feedback (performance reviews) and training.
Promote a safe, inclusive, and collaborative work environment that reflects company values of “done right the first time”, “safety first”, and Lean culture.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

Drive Lean transformation initiatives, including standard work, visual management, and waste elimination.
Lead kaizen events and cross-functional improvement projects to enhance quality and reduce cost.
Track and report relevant KPIs
Use data to inform decisions and drive accountability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in operations management, Engineering, or related field (preferred). Experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
3+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership roles
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and advanced planning tools
Experience migrating or implementing ERP/MRP systems in a plus.
Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies (preferred)
Experience participating in or leading S&OP processes
